THE NARROW ROAD TO THE FAR NORTH

On the narrow road to the far north
I fell into a bed of darkness
not knowing my way home.

Where I searched there was no road.
Who I found was a wooden statue.
What I felt was freedom

from beings seeking illusion,
from energy seeking transformation,
from the journey seeking rest.
